HEIDORGEN is a Canadian-Dutch DJ and Producer.

Real name – Doryan Heijnen, the Vancouver-based artist was born into a deep-rooted love of music. The son of a Canadian mother – renowned DJ Mixtress Venus and Dutch Father - ex member of Psychick Warriors ov Gaia and one half of Exquisite Corpse, both were heavily involved within the electronic music scene which rubbed off on Heidorgen in a big way.

Growing up he gravitated towards hip-hop and breakdancing culture inspired by the likes of De La Soul, Aesop Rock, and Run the Jewels, with further influences coming from Funk, Jazz, Electronic, Soul, Indie and Classical music.

After over a decade of writing rhymes as an emcee, he went on to discover his eclectic influences and develop his own unique style of sample-based electronic music whilst also completing a degree in Audio Engineering and Music Production at SAE Institute Vancouver.

His crisp and intriguing production and sound design is evident in his growing portfolio of impressive work, which has included working on film sets as an audio engineer and boom-operator, as well as in post-production as a foley artist and sound mixer and designer.

As a DJ, Heidorgen has performed with the likes of Moases, DJ True Message and Ato-Mik and is currently working on a live performance merging live instrumental, turntablism and Ableton Push.

2023 sees Heidorgen continue to evolve his production style merging Electronica, House, and Tech with creative synth processing and abstract samples. With an upcoming release on HOT GROOVERS and much more unfolding – the future is exciting indeed for this dedicated and fresh artist.
